Welcome to Mapper!
Mapper is a set of components and wizards to help people develop web applications using the Enhydra framework. Mapper applications are put together much like traditional graphical user interfaces: containers, components and event driven programming. Below are the top features:

  • Foundation set of XMLComponents (see overview).
  • Wizards and Visual Designers for the Borland JBuilder IDE.
  • XMLComponents can be bound to XML document, ComponentDataSource and http input stream.
  • XMLComponents generate events and can have listeners much like GUI components.
  • The WebComponentPO container is configured by properties and is an extensible environment for XMLComponents.
  • ComponentDataSources for JDBC, Java object(s), and Borland's QueryDataSet to supply data to XMLComponents.
